The Big Day
doors 1:30pm · ceremony 2pm · carriages at midnight
Smart attireDoors open at 1:30pm and the ceremony begins at 2pm — do give yourself time to settle in, say your hellos and find a seat before we kick things off.
From there, the ceremony, reception and evening celebration all take place at Old Gore — so once you've arrived, you're settled for the whole day. No travelling between venues, no second postcode to find.

What to wear
Dress code
Smart attire — think suits, cocktail dresses, jumpsuits.
It's not black tie, so no need to hire a tux.
We imagine we'll be mostly inside in April — but we might get lucky for an Aperol outside!
The vibe
Suits and ties, cocktail or midi dresses, jumpsuits — polished but relaxed.
Underfoot
The courtyard is stone and gravel, with lawns beyond — block heels or wedges will fare far better than stilettos.
After dark
April evenings get chilly — bring a jacket or wrap for later on.

What time should I arrive? +
Doors open at 1:30pm and the ceremony begins at 2pm. Please aim to be seated by 1:45pm — plenty of time to say hello and settle in first.
Can I bring a plus-one? +
We're keeping the day intimate, so we can only welcome those named on the invitation — we hope you understand.
Are children invited? +
Ours will be a mostly adults-only day, with the exception of a few little ones close to our hearts. If your children are invited, they'll be named on your invitation — otherwise, please enjoy a well-earned night off!
What's the dress code? +
Smart attire — suits and ties, cocktail or midi dresses. See the dress code section for footwear and evening tips.
Where do I park? +
There is a good amount of on-site parking for those driving.

A note on getting home: the venue is rural and late-night pickups can be scarce, so please pre-book your journey home. There are also 40+ pubs-with-rooms, B&Bs and cottages within 1–11 miles — ask us if you'd like more suggestions.
